Generator

Windlass

•The windlass is located in the locker next to the generator. Outside the cabin below the
starboard cabin window.
• The controller for the windlass is in the locker.
• There is a line that is tied to the anchor spreader and secured on a cleat in the windlass
locker just above the chain.
• After paying out the desired length of anchor rode attach the anchor spreader to the anchor
chain using the coupler on the spreader. Continue to pay out rode until the anchor chain
between the windlass and the spreader coupler is slack but the anchor chain rode is taught.
Once the anchor is secured pay in the extra (slack) anchor chain.
Anchor and Spreader
• Anchor Chain 150’
• The main ships anchor is secured in the anchor cradle at the base of the bow below the
anchor locker.
• Make sure to keep the anchor chain centered between the two hulls when paying out and
retrieving the anchor to prevent damage to the hull.
• There are two extra anchors located in the anchor locker
• Extra line for spare anchor. Approximate length 125’
. The Condition of the line is good.
• There is a safety line for the anchor stored in the anchor locker
